APPROVED: The acquisition of a new voting system, on behalf of the Elections Department, comprised of new tabulation equipment, electronic pollbooks, and peripherals totaling $804,273.62, excluding applicable taxes, implementation, data management and training costs, as follows: 1) Purchase of tabulation equipment from ES&S in the amount of $488,909.16 excluding taxes, utilizing Pinal County’s Contract 131219 valid through April 29, 2016 with 3 additional renewal periods remaining. Additionally, upon acquisition of said equipment, Elections may procure, as needed, additional services such as implementation assistance, data management, training, etc. from ES&S under this contract; 2) Purchase of electronic pollbooks from Robis in the amount of $291,859.00 excluding taxes, utilizing Maricopa County’s Contract 13029 valid through August 31, 2016 with 3 additional renewal periods remaining. Additionally, upon acquisition of said e-pollbooks, Elections may procure, as needed, additional services such as implementation assistance, data management, training, etc. from Robis under this contract; 3) Purchase of peripherals with a combined approximate total of $23,505.46 to be made separately utilizing currently available cooperative contracts and/or based upon a sole source designation for those specialized items involving handicap accessibility. Total expenditures for the acquisition of a new voting system by the Elections Department to include the identified costs herein and costs that may be incurred after purchase of the varying components specified herein, shall not exceed its allocated budget of $1,154,765.00, including all subsequent applicable taxes and required services for implementation, data management, training, etc. utilizing allocated budget funds from the following ORG and OBJ Codes: 29711200 | 48550, 29711201 | 41408 and 89711200 | 43945.
